Terms of business
These terms apply when you buy a service from Renewal Scout. They are written for businesses: we do not sell to consumers. What we provide, and the prices

Every price is fixed before you pay. We are not registered for VAT, so there is no VAT to add. What each service includes is described on our website. For tender writing, and anything else we quote for, your quote sets out the scope, the price and the delivery date. If the quote and the website differ, the quote applies.
Ordering and paying
You order through our form or by email. We confirm the price and the delivery date by email, then send a secure link to pay by card. The work starts once you have paid and sent us what we need.
Delivery
We deliver within five working days of receiving your payment, the completed form and the documents we need, unless we agree another date in writing. If we need anything else from you, we ask by email, and the date moves by the time it takes you to reply. If your tender deadline is too close for us to do a good job, we will say so before you pay.
Changes
One round of changes is included on everything. Send us your changes together within ten working days of delivery. Changes must stay within what was ordered: anything new, such as a different tender or extra questions, we quote for separately.
Your part
- Give us accurate, complete information, and tell us about anything that could affect your bid.
- Read everything we write before you use it. Your director should approve the policies and any commitments, and you should only commit to what you can deliver.
- You submit your tender and are responsible for meeting the buyer’s deadline and instructions.
How we write
We draft with the help of AI writing tools, working from your form, your documents and the buyer’s scoring criteria. Every answer is checked against them before it reaches you. We never invent evidence, accreditations, figures or case studies: if something is missing, we ask.
Refunds
- If we miss the delivery date we agreed, you get a full refund.
- If you cancel before we start, you get a full refund.
- Once we have started, we finish the work and there is no refund, but the round of changes is still yours.
No guarantee of winning
No one can honestly promise that you will win a contract or reach a particular score: price, the incumbent and the evaluators all matter. We promise answers that address every scored point, stay within the limits and rest on evidence you actually have.
Who owns the work
Once you have paid, what we write for you is yours to use, adapt and reuse, including for other tenders. We may reuse our general know-how and our own templates, but never your information or anything that identifies you.
Confidentiality and your data
We use your documents only to do your work, never share them except with the service providers named in our privacy notice, and delete them whenever you ask.
Liability
Our total liability for any piece of work is limited to the price you paid for it. We are not liable for lost contracts, lost profits or lost business opportunities. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Complaints
If something is not right, email hello@renewalscout.co.uk. We reply within two working days and will try to put it right.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute.
